New York part one
Part one ”the trip”
New York is usually called the city of the cities and just so it feels when you are there, wherever you look around it is something going on, and the sound picture of all the pouring taxis, howling sirens helps to give that feeling of being in the middle of a movie, i can only describe it with a word, wonderful :) but this city has so much more to offer and you want to back as soon as you left it, just so you can explore more.
We started our trip by flying to heatrow airport in England, there we hade rather short time to fetch our next flight to New York, but the staff at the airport is wery helpsome and they manage to guide us to our plane nice and easy so there was no stress. Good to know is that you might get asked a lot of cuestions on your reason to wisit the USA and things like your workstatus and so on, i guess its because they want to se that you are just traveling as a tourist and not trying stay longer than you are allowed, but the English are as usual werry polight so there is no hassle to get trough there.
Our flight was with american airlines and it was a nice and comfortable flight over the ocean, there was free food and drinks as we traveled on a regular ticket, and that was a nice suprise to us (we had packed our bag full with sandwiches and candy but there was no need for that as we noticed 😂)
And then, finally we made touchdown at JFK airport, Wow we are in the USA! We had always dreamt on doing this trip, and here we are finally, i almost kissed the pawent but realised that would be a bad idea as there was a lot of airport guards everywhere and they looked like they was not to happy to se a crazy tourist licking the floor 😱😄
We used a transit van to take us in to our hotell at time square, snd that is good and economic way to transfer, it cost about 50$ and depending on where your hotel is situated in the city, you might be the first or maybe the last to get to your adress, but it doesent reallly matters as you get to see the city on your way and thats really nice.
I will never forget the first wiew of the city on our way through queens, and suddenly the mighty skyscrapers emerges in the view through the windshield of the taxi, its like magic ✌🏻😊

I am a New Yorker. One of the funniest things that I have learned is that tourists end up knowing more about NYC than its citizens. Things move fast here and no one has time to stop and see what the city has to offer.
