Two countries will work together to destroy fake notes

Bangladesh and India will work jointly with counterfeit notes and distributors of counterfeit notes. Police officers from both countries will now exchange immediate intelligence information. For this, necessary training will also be provided to the officials.

These decisions were made at a joint task force of Bangladesh and India counterfeit currency notes at the Police Headquarters on Sunday.

The Bangladesh delegation led by the deputy inspector general (Crime Management) Roushan Ara Begum and the Indian delegation were led by NIA's Inspector General, Shri Anil Shukla. 26 officials from both the countries took part in the meeting.

Earlier on September 12 of this year, India's Hindustan Times published a report by the border security force of Bangladesh border with the BSF list. According to the report, fake notes in India are from Jammu, Punjab, Rajasthan, Gujarat, West Bengal, Assam and Meghalaya from 13 points. Recently, the entry of Indian counterfeit notes from Bangladesh border areas has increased a lot.

Meanwhile, Bangladeshi currency was recovered from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for trafficking in Jessore Benapole and China during trafficking in India, the International Press Agency said.

When the two countries expressed concern about some issues at a meeting organized at the Police Headquarters yesterday, Assistant Inspector General of Police Saheli Ferdous said that no country officially expressed concern. In it the fake notes can go from. Such incidents have happened, patients and their relatives have been in danger due to fake notes while being treated in India. From these thoughts, the two countries have decided to work together to identify and spread the source of counterfeit notes.

Mr. Anil Shukla, Inspector General of the Indian delegation, NIA, said that in order to maintain the economic stability of the two countries, they jointly decided to work on crime prevention.

Earlier, members of the Indian delegation met with the Bangladesh Police Inspector General AKM Shahidul Haque in his office room. During this time, they exchange views between different aspects of counterfeit currency notes between Bangladesh and India.
