It will give self-confidence
The doctor in a white coat we consider more reliable and competent than his colleague in ordinary clothes. In addition, scientists have proven an understanding that clothing affects our perception of ourselves. During the experiment, two groups of participants were given identical gowns before performing the tasks, only one group was told that they were medical gowns, and another - that it was a cloak worn by artists. The third group performed tasks in their usual clothes. As a result, the participants in the "medical" dressing gowns passed the tests more successfully than the rest.
This influence of clothing on our perception has long been known. They are successfully used by underwear manufacturers.
