Shaquille O'Neal comes out stating the Earth is Flat and explains why. Then after a few weeks of pressure---he recants his position.
This isn't trolling but rather internet peer pressure to get people to conform with popular ideas. This has nothing to do with "Truth". It has to do with following the crowd and giving into conformist ideas because they are popular.
This shows the price someone can pay for thinking independently. It shows that free thinking has a cost.
I've never associated Shaquille O'Neal with thinking.

He does make compelling points.

there ARE no compelling points about flat earth.
we have SATELITES in orbit, we have a multitude of pictures and a great many videos of the earth from out in space.
the earth is an oblate spheroid....and that's a fact.
We have satellites in low earth orbit yes. And the photos by NASA have all been put together as composites with a lot of doctoring---that's a fact and you can check it. Look at the evidence, and you will see the Earth is a flat object, not a spinning globe.
