The Summoned one
An unfinished art of a demon summoned by the ancient ones by sacrificing children. The summoned are the so called defenders of the state... There was a small city state in unknown lands. They have no army, nothing to protect them except the walls, and strange temple, a temple that they built on the old graveyard.
In times of war, the monks were collecting the prettiest virgins that they could find... And every time, after the ceremony all of the monks were slaughtered by the summoned. For a punishment that they have been awakened from their eternal sleep.
The summoned gather around the city walls and stay there until they kill every single enemy of the state.
When their job is done, they disappear into the abyss where they came from.
I still work on the story, but i wanted to share it with you and see what you think about it.
Tools used: Red ballpoint pen and 80g A4 sheet of printing paper
facebook; artstation; deviantart; behance
It looks amazing! And the fact that you have used pen and paper is impressing, many people doesn't do it anymore.
Thank you!
I always try to keep my traditional artwork in check cause i feel like the digital drawing is making me lazy. And i'm not always on my computer so there is no other way i guess :)
It´s nice to see that someone is still doing it, did you study art?
In high school i studied economy. Now i study industrial design. I'm mostly self- taught.
There are actually many artists that are keeping the traditional craft alive. But on paper, you can't do 4k image, for example, there are alway good and bad sides of everything :)
Actually my degree is i economy, and for a short time I studied fashion design...lol.
But I'm not good drawing, I have problems in the perspective and proportions :$ well with technology comes a great disadvantage, some things become more rare, and people younger than us doesn't even know about it.
Well, you should just find good books that suit your needs and what you want to learn, and destroy them, i mean practice like lunatic. And here you're wrong, technology is an advantage, i know a girl that is 17 years old, she is drawing perfectly, doing high/low poli models in 3d max and blender. And a dude that is 21 years old and is actually a teacher of mine, the dude works like a web; ux; interface designer and is a really skilled artist. All that learned from the internet only so no, technology is a bonus. It all depends on how you use it that's all :)
Thank you for the advise.
any time :)
DUDE! F-ing SCARY!
Like your Screen Name, love to have one of those rifles!
The 7.62 x 54 is so powerful and CHEAP! The Russian "Thirty-Aught-Six" so to speak ;)
Or do you all call the "Aught-6" the American Mosin? lol
Thanks! It should be scary, it's a demon.
I like the Dragunov rifle cause its COE is really high.
I don't know how they call it :)
This name came to me while i had a project for the university, we had to research the ergonomy of something that man uses alot in his field of work. All the other students chose things like irons or let's say spoons, i chose the most used Russian rifles cause i was playing s.t.a.l.k.e.r. shadow of Chernobyl back in the day. And after i finished my research i decided to use that name as long as DirtyTactic, the weapon is so simple and so effective, it uses standard rounds, the ergonomy is great. :)
Cheers mate!
Not sure what COE means, but the Muzzle Energy is awesome, the rounds are inexpensive, and the range is very long!
I wish our two countries were better friends, I know our people have great admiration for the way the Russians held up under Soviet rule and came out on TOP!
COE means coefficient of efficiency.
Ooh, it's a long story, i don't hate or love nations, i can't cause this means if you're really great man, but you're from let's say a country that i don't like. This means that i judge you cause you were born in that country. No one has the right to do that... i know people that actually think that and i would smack them in the face with a shovel cause they're just stupid :)
Very Good Explanation of countries and such!
Is COE the same as Ballistic Coefficient? I know a little about that.
Not really, COE is overall how good the gun functions as a whole. I how well everything functions as a whole
In the USA I have never seen that term, and most would likely ignore it anyway. We have lots of self-proclaimed experts here LOL!!! I would like to see all guns with a COE number, it would narrow down the search, as we have so many fine weapons available for purchase.
Very Interesting!
It's not for guns only, it's a term used in engineering in general :)
