"Behind the mask" original Artwork in progress
How are ya? As Bill Burr says- I'm just checking in on ya!
I've got some cool progress today and I would like to share it with you. I could not sleep well, so I was grinding. Too much coffee last night... Or just because the last 3 days i stayed away from caffeine in general... However... I was wondering if I should stay true to the first design. For around 4 hous i was rendering the hand and a bit effort went into the sleeve towards the end. Here it is.
I still have to fix the hand. Don't slack while doing studies!
Tools used: Photoshop cc2018 and wacom Intuos pen small

I love her hair :) No coffee or too much coffee, the character is looking amazing. What is wrong with the hand? It looks like 6 fingers but why not leaving it as 6 fingers? It is pretty cool, I thought.

The sixth finger is actually the outline of a cloth that is going to be used for wiping her blade :D
Ooo.. I see it now. Woops. Sorry :D What do you have to fix for the hand? I like the shine that the girl has. Oh and I forgot to mention, I love the pattern on the top of the girl's blouse. Did you take an existing pattern and mask it as the blouse?
The hand looks a bit strange. The pattern is a placeholder for a scarf that i still have no idea about. So it will stay there until i get 1 :D It has to be something really fine
Great work of art! I like the mask especially the eyes. They look so tough which is a complement to the sweet and subtle face behind them. The hair and the lips look outstanding because they are the only non-B&W ones. Is that the coffee's imagination effect? 😃
Thank you! The whole piece will have color. For now I'm just working on the values, making sure that I have everything on place cause colors distract me from the proportions and stuff like that :D Noob stuff
Oh I see. I thought that's gonna be it B&W except the hair and lips. 😂 I am sure that will look livelier with the colors!
