Jujube in October

Jujube (Ziziphus jujuba), also known as Chinese date, Korean date or Indian date is a small tree with edible oval drupe.
In Croatia it is known as "žižula" or "čičindra" and it is not very common. It grows in coastal areas especially in Skradin.
The crop ripens non-simultaneously, so fruit can be picked for several weeks during September.
