To Be Continued
After two weeks of farm life now I feel like adding some new ingredients into Steemit Soup )
Well, I know, the idea of two weeks internet free retreat might seem to be ridiculous for someone on the bumpy road from an old bicycle to a new Rolls-Roils ) Shouldn't one instead rather 24/7/365 be following charts of Steem going up and down ?
For me the answer is No for a very simple reason - I don't like to do something what others can do better. Specially I don't like to do something what bots can do better )
And for trading, I definitely couldn't compare with bots, so I don't.
Having said that let's proceed further.
The farm is located at small Tarussa river. The river is making a big loop at this place, so, also your walk from point A to point B would only take about 10 minutes, if you decide to flow down the river it would take hours instead.
I remember, when I was 16, this age gave me right to rent a boat, I did it and spent a week on the shore of Volga river, fishing and hunting mushrooms. Of course, I already did it before accompanied by my older brother and his friends, but to be able to do it on my own was something I have been waiting eagerly at my teenage years.
It so happened that my retreat included my 48th birthday . 48 = 16+16+16 . It seemed to be a good enough reason to spend this day in a boat too )
It was supposed to be a lazy meditative flow in a company of beavers and cranes, but the universe disagreed.
A few heavy rains made Tarussa to be a violent stream of milk coffee color. It didn't look very meditative. Probably at my 16 I wouldn't mind so much, but not now.
However the alternative of hunting mushrooms was always there. Usually in my hunting rage I just forget to take a picture, but here are some available
Well, now I do realize how much this hobby of mine is alike to curators work on Steemit. This feeling when you see a bright spark on the field of trash )
And as for rewords it is also similar. My farmer friends told me that they get about 50 $ for one kilo of dried chanterelle mushrooms. It seems to be fair enough unless you know that you need about 18 kilos of raw mushrooms to get 1 kilo dried ones )
So, goodbye forest, now I'm back to my new hobby of hunting Steemit jewels )

Keep up the great work @svamiva
