Life As We Know It...

Life has been described as so many things by all sorts of people. From these descriptions, it is certain that people describe life based on their experiences.

We really don’t know much about life. We just study the things we see (and some that we can only feel) and look for patterns, then find Logical answers to questions that arise.

Life as we know it, isn’t really much knowledge. For when you think you’ve figured it out, something else will convince you that you know nothing at all.

Sometimes, when I see a mad person laugh so loudly and happily, I wonder if they’re the ones that have finally figured it out, then they laugh at what we think we know and how we walk about, boldly,thinking we’ve got all the answers. Just a muse though…

People say life is beautiful, life is unfair, life is like roses full of thorns, life is mysterious, life is a joke, life is serious, life is hope, life is this, life is that.

Yes.
Life is all these things and so much more. That is why it is so precious. It is the uncertainty of the future that keeps tomorrow pregnant!

Apart from the few factors we have no control over, I think life gives us what we work for, most times. 

One poem comes to my mind.

I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store;

For Life is just an employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you have set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.

I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn, dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have paid.”
