Somebody told me that skateboarding is the ideal training for surfers, especially when using a Carver.

That's why I bought a skateboard a couple of months ago and started to practice on the streets. Compared with surfing it's quite dangerous, since drop offs are much more painful on the asphalt than in the water. 

Therefore, I use a lot of protectors.

Today I shooted my very first skateboarding video!

The Carver 

Girls are like that: function follows design.

Josh Kerr is a professional surfer. So having a skateboard designed by him is just extraordinarily cool!

A friend of mine calls me "Marketing victim". He does it for a reason :-) Haha!

Well even if my skateboarding isn't as professional as Josh Kerr's, at least I look good while carving down the road. 

That's a girl's logic :-)

However, in my test video I focussed on the functional points, too.

The wind is really annoying and the quality of sound suffers. 

That's the only thing that I actually don't appreciate much about my GoPro. It's very sensitive to noise even when using a housing. Like that it's almost impossible to do the moderation parts outdoors, because at my place it's always very windy.

The next time I will shoot outside but do the audio inside.
