What are the problems faced by children, & which are all childhood traumas?
Undoubtedly, this is a very good question, the circumstances of different countries may be different but the social environment and problems are almost the same.
Childish nature is a soft nature, various kinds of questions and doubts keep running in the mind of children. Children have to deal with many traumas depending on their home circumstances, such as domestic, social, sexual abuse, facing violence at home, school and in the community, pressure of competition in studies, pressure from a loved one or parent.
There can be many reasons like loss of life of one of the children or serious accidents, serious injury to the child himself, any congenital or serious disease, or problem of being ignored in social and educational places due to any physical disability or ugliness, etc. Because of which the child is suffocating from within.
How to protect children from social bullying?
It is the duty of good parents to spend time with their children, nowadays in the competitive era both the parents are busy in earning money and completely neglect the children.
The child remains worried with many questions and problems in his mind. He wants to talk about many things only with his mother or father. As the children grow older, one of the parents, or if possible both, must spend time with their children, teaching them how to interact with other people and what behavior of deaf people they oppose.
Especially in the case of girls, it is the responsibility of the mother to make her daughters mentally strong and to give them knowledge about social customs and evils from childhood. In childhood, children need both physical and mental protection.
Sometimes in the society, sometimes at the place of education and sometimes they face bullies even in the domestic environment, and sometimes due to shyness, sometimes due to fear they are not able to tell anyone. That is why parents should spare time for their children and treat them like friends and understand and solve the complexities of their minds.
How to educate our children about good touch and bad touch?
This is a very important topic, sexual exploitation of children has been happening since a long time, these incidents are done in school, by the people around them and in many cases by the family members themselves. According to psychiatrists, a child who is a victim of sexual abuse in childhood is unable to tell the incident that happened to him to anyone due to shame and fear and remains distressed in his mind, due to which his mental state becomes shaky and a fear develops in his mind. Going.
That is why we should openly talk to our growing children on this subject and must tell them that they should not be touched by any person, whether it is a family member or an outsider. Children should understand this clearly. She is being hugged affectionately by some person or a desire for sexual exploitation is developing in her mind.
By increasing this awareness, we can protect our children from bad incidents happening in the future, especially growing up girls should avoid mixing too much with the people around them.
What do we have to sacrifice to raise a good child?
To raise a good child, we should change our own behaviour, our actions, because the child's mind is very soft, it learns only what it sees happening around it. If we want our children to become good then we have to give them good values. Parents who are busy with their mobile phones cannot stop their children from watching mobile phones.
Drinking alcohol in front of children, fighting between husband and wife, shouting loudly or having sex in the presence of children has a bad effect on the minds of children. Parents should behave balanced and restrained in front of children. We should not show our bad hobbies in front of them, because for children their mother and father are role models. And they also want to do the same in life as their parents do.
