"Una imagen una historia"

                       MY STORY

Both Stella and her husband Daniel were employed, their combined earnings were not enough to buy or rent a house in a posh area of their city.

That's why he had rented a cheap but quite pleasant house for himself at a hilly place, far away from the city. Both of them were happy in this house with their only 8 year old son Dhillon.

During the day, both of them would go to their jobs and leave Dhillon at school. There was a provision for children to stay late in the school, so they used to bring Dhillon home along with them while returning from their duty.

The life of all three was going very well in this routine. There was no dense population near their house, there were only a few houses built nearby in which the people living in them were not interested in each other. Therefore, all three of them had no relation with the neighbours.

Today was a weekly holiday, there were a lot of household chores to be done on a holiday, after a busy morning schedule, Stella said to her husband Daniel in the evening, "Let's buy some household items from the supermarket" and Dhillon had been skating for a long time. He is asking for shoes, we will also bring skating shoes for him."""

Dhillon became very happy after hearing these words from his mother, he looked at his mother with very loving eyes and said

"Mummy, both of you go away, I will watch my favorite cartoon movie, anyway I always bored in the market, but you please come back soon."

Daniel nodded in agreement and said, "You make the shopping list, I'll just freshen up, then let's go."

Then around 5 o'clock both the husband and wife left for the city in their car, even before this he used to leave Dhillon home alone, because he had no fear of any kind.

When they were about to reach the supermarket, suddenly terrible clouds appeared, strong winds started blowing, and light rain also started. Both of them started worrying about Dhillon.

Here, after mom and dad left, Dhillon had put on his favorite cartoon movie on the television and was watching it with great pleasure, then he heard the storm and the thunder of clouds, and meanwhile the electricity system of his house got cut off. It became dark everywhere in and around the house. The weather also became very cold due to rain.

Fog settled on the window panes of the house, nothing outside was visible.

Poor Dhillon, the lonely child in the house, started getting nervous, only a faint light was lighting inside the house from the inverter bulb, Dhillon had no idea about the other electrical switches.

He tried to call his mother from the landline phone kept at home but that too was disconnected due to the storm and water.

Now the only child could do nothing except wait for his parents to return, so to reduce his fear, he stood at the window of the house and tried unsuccessfully to look outside. This terrible environment was constantly scaring him, but still he was controlling his fear with courage.

Then two hours later, when his mom and dad hurriedly returned home after doing half-finished shopping from the supermarket, seeing them, Dhillon hugged them and started crying.

The parents vowed never to leave their child alone at home again.
