Missing Adelaide Zoo.

Adelaide Zoo, a great place to go, you get to see heaps of animals in action. Wish we had more time there to feed and pat the animals in the feeding/petting area. We were in Adelaide 3 years ago for a wedding. We actually drove all the way the from Melbourne. I think next time we will fly instead.

My favourite photo is of the people watching the meerkat watching the giraffes.

Isn't it just the cutest thing?

IMG_1862.JPG

Although my favourite animal is the tassie devil, he kept running laps non-stop. It was so hard to get a good photo with it running constantly.

Check out this fierce lion. His name is Mujambi. There was even a sign telling us to watch out, because he can spray backwards up to 4 metres to mark his territory on the plants along the edges.

IMG_1932.JPG

As fierce as he is, I couldn't help laugh at his rectangle looking behind when he sat down. Oops, I think he heard me.

IMG_1942.JPG

There were so many active animals and beautiful setups for beautiful animals.

IMG_1950.JPG

Even for those who always looked unimpressed.

IMG_1973.JPG

The pandas were really cool to watch too as they pigged out.

IMG_2028.JPG

They even had manderin ducks!

This was where I wanted to be the most, in the petting area. So I passed the camera to my partner and asked him to check the image because I was in the middle of making some changes to the settings. He told me it was fine.... when obviously it wasn't. 😭😭

Someone is now banned from taking photos.

What a beautiful zoo. My favourite is the one with the Meerkat watching the Giraffes but then again the Lion is awesome. Its good to see that the animals all looked well cared for. Great photos too.

Thanks! They were well cared for, not like I've been to many zoos but comparing to where I've been, this Zoo was the best.

looks like great fun and yes the lion heard you.
Tigers spray a fare distance as well, it would be disgusting if you were hit.
Did you take some hair or feather samples for home?
Maybe you plucked a hair from a gorilla, or the tassie devil.

hahahaha zoo animal samples would be really cool!

Hiya, just swinging by to let you know that this post made the Honorable Mentions list in today's Travel Digest!

Wow neat! Thanks a bunch!

You took great photos! Sometimes you can improve overexposed photos with something as basic as Microsoft Office.
Meerkats are from my part of the world and extremely cute. That little one is quite fat

hehehe fat is cute. That meerkat had the best seat in the house!
oooo I had a try to improve the photos in word, but it only gave me options to adjust brightness and contrast :(

Did you play with those? Adjusting brightness will improve it considerably, even with MS word

Yes I did, it did help a bit but some parts are still too bright. Here is what it looks like with 10% (left) and 20% (right) adjustments. Hard to see the deer still and my face for the bottom photo is still bright. When I change to 30% and up, the picture starts to look more grey

adjustments.JPG

A bit better! Sometimes it helps to play with all of those adjustments a little and especially the midtones

awww so cute! I hope one day to be as big and ferocious as Mujambi hahahah
