Achievement 2 @superimodc Task : Basic Security on Steem

Hi colleague newcomers to this community.
Not long ago, I joined steemit and I’m gradually getting to know some of the basic security of this platform.

Now I’m proceding to the next goal which is the achievement 2 and this will help me know and understand the different keys and how to use them safety and methodical.

HAVE YOU RECEIVE ALL YOUR KEYS ON STEEMIT?

I started downloading a PFD When I signed up for Steemit, where I found all the different types of keys.

Posting key:
The first and most used key type, used for posting, voting, and commenting. It is used for logging into your steemit Account.
Memo key:
Used to read/create memos. This key is, for now, useless and can be ignored. This key is used to prevent information leakage.

Active key:

The second key type, used for money/currency transfers, the active key is used for the powering up. When transferring Steem tokens to other users, you will need an active key to complete the transaction.

Owner key:
The Owner key is the It is the third key used to reset all other keys.
You can use the owner key to reset all other keys, but you cannot be used to reset the master key.

HOW DO YOU PLAN TO KEEP YOUR MASTER PASSWORD

I have saved my password in a secured folder on my phone and put it in my google drive. I also wrote it on a piece of paper where I can easily get access to it most importantly where no one can access it

• Log into your steem wallet with your user name and active posting key.

Step 2

• Tap on the arrow on steem and and tap on transfer.

Step 3

• Input the amount of steem you want to transfer and the user name and tap on next.

Step 4

• Tap on ok to complete the transaction.

Step 1

• First log into your steemit wallet using your user name and active key.

Step 2

• Tap on the down arrow on steem and tap on power up.

Step 3

• Enter the amount of steem to power up

Step 4

• Tap on ok to confirm the process.
