Do you believe in chem trails? (contrails)

I am going to remove my tin foil hat just long enough to try and write a logical post about the trail of clouds that are emitted from the back of airplanes. I thought of this as I was driving home from work yesterday and saw this in my local scenery:

We can clearly see that here have been multiple jet engines pass through this area and left what scientists call contrails.

Contrails are, in a scientific explanation, byproducts of jet engine exhaust that is emitted into atmosphere. As jet engine exhaust is discharged water vapor is left behind. The vapors from exhaust is very hot while the atmosphere where jets fly is cold. When the hot air with water vapor comes into contact with the cold atmosphere it condenses into water drops and then into ice crystals. These ice crystals form the contrails we see. Now onto more nefarious theories. I personally think the government is complicit in attempting to manipulate the weather for defense purposes. The jet exhaust is composed of more than simply byproducts of jet fuel combustion and water vapor. In the 1950’s the British were successful in creating rain clouds (Google Operation Cumulus).
