Worked six days a week, Monday thru Saturday, ten hours per.
Ran a crew of two other workers that kept the vegetative plantings alive and well at The Rondel. They were always raking, trimming, and removing dead leaves and such.
Remember it’s Jamaica, weather like paradise, 52 weeks, 365 days a year.
The grounds looked like an arboretum, and a showcase of
Jamaican vegetation on display.
Needless to say, he was very proud
of his accomplishments.
I appreciated their mammoth
effort to maintain stability with mother
nature. You guessed it, they were all graced with a monetary reward and a hardy Jamaican finger click handshake.
