Making Strawberry Scented Cupcake Soap by Sunscape
I wanted to share a fun Cupcake Soap that I made recently, called STRAWBERRY CONFETTI and it was fun to make this colorful, sparkly, cupcake soap that looks good enough to eat....but please don't. Enjoy the wonderful blend of oils and butters to naturally, nourish your precious skin. You are so worth it!
Making Cupcake Soap
The oils and butters are all measured out separately, melted until smooth and combined into one bowl. I then blend them until they become thick enough to add in my other ingredients, such as color, scent (in this case Strawberry), clay, milks or honey to add extra special touches to the soaps.
Below the mixture is poured into a cupcake mold and then I use a piping bag to swirl some of the soap on top. The final touch is a little bit of skin safe glitter to complete the cupcake. They harden for 24 hours before I remove them from the mold and are placed onto the drying racks for up to six weeks before packaging.

I am working hard at getting noticed online, it is nothing like doing the trade shows. It takes a lot of work, but I know it will all be fine and worth it.
Yes. It is hard work @sunscape. I sold my art for a while. Most of my custom came via Facebook. 😊
My daughter is keen to start an Etsy shop but I was explaining to her at the weekend that the shop is the easy bit, it's getting customers to it that's the challenge

I wish I had your talent to create such a beautiful soap- all mine are usually utilitarian not for show. You know... pour it in the molds, let them dry and cure and use in the shower.

Hi @goldendawne you are too funny. You should watch some you tube videos and give it a try. It takes some practice but it is worth it.
