What Would Happen To You If You'd Get Too​ Close To A Neutron Star

A neutron star is on of the densest bodies that we know of.  It is the collapsed core of a large star of approximately  10–30 solar masses. It's material is so dense, that one cubic centimeter of neutron star matter contains the same as a mass of an iron cube 700 meters across. It generates an extremely intense gravitational field. The gravity is so strong that it bends light arround the star. Even in the far future we won't be able to approach a neutron star.

Let's say that something happens and you are approaching a neutron star, the gravity would be pulling you so hard towards the surface that you would accelerate at 1/2 to 2/3 of the speed of light.It's gravity is 200 billion times stronger than that of the Earth. Around 150 miles above the surface you would be dismembered in to a thin stream of atoms. And eventually you would become a part of the star it self!

In conclusion kids don't go near neutron stars, they are shiny balls of death!
