60 seconds
If your house is on fire and you have 60 seconds to grab something what would you take?
I got that crucial question from the 2010 movie "Leap Year", though this is not a movie review article. This is about the fire incident that happened few days ago and that question struck me.
I mentioned in my last post that I stayed for a moment looking around and thinking what to grab. When my 60 seconds came around I didn't know what to take aside from my wallet and phone, it's like nothing else matters at that moment. I never thought of grabbing my laptop which at that time was just in front of me. I glanced at photo albums, old pictures with frames, Flat screen TV and other material things that I think were salient.
It was then I realized, its not worth risking my life because what I need is already downstairs, safe and waiting for me to leave the house, my family. Material things can be acquired in time but life and family are irreplaceable.
I never thought I would be in that situation. Life is indeed unpredictable. If just in case it happens to you, please don't panic , just try to stay calm and secure the safety of your family first.

Oh no! That is quite lamentable. Sabi nga nila mas mabuti nang manakawan kesa masunugan. Pero nanakawan naman parin kayo ng tirahan. God is good for you have your second chance in life. If that happened to me, I may act just like you. Grab what I can grab and carry.
i think aside from my family members and pets, I'd save important documents too. money can be replaced but the life of our precious one is the most important
Good thing 3 lng kami sa house. Even important documents di ko na naisip i save, kasi ung smoke pumasok nasa sa room ng dad ko
