melancholy musing

teach me a prayer
to eliminate heartache
show me a sign
to obliterate this sadness
gift me the wards and sigils
to protect the sacred part of me
encase it in concrete
tie a barbed wire bow
bury it deep in the sea
hypnotize my heart
convince my soul to forget
erase from my memories those happier times
when the clock chimes
when the witching hour comes
when the stars align
when the moon becomes new
recharge my passion
and let my will be done
