Markdown is an easy-to-write plain text format that is converted into HTML.

It consist of various formatting codes that allow you to format your Steemit post, including:

• bold
• italics
• bullet points

• comments

• and much more

Aren't There Other Markdown Guides Available?

Yes! There are a lot of free resources available, and many of them are good.

But Steem Markdown is the only resource that I am aware of that specifically talks about Markdown in the Steemit context.

Since I could not find 1 single guide that covered all the topics that I needed, I decided to make a guide that included everything I wanted!

And on top of that, Steem Markdown is an online, self-paced online course!
