Why is Pokémon Go so popular?
Since yesterday Pokemon Go is finally available in Germany followed today by the UK the streets are crowded with people trying to catch some rare Pokémon!
Even though I spent nearly all day walking around with my dogs, farming all Pokestops in my area, meeting all
types of people also playing the game I can't stop wondering why people are so excited for this game, even though
Ingress (the original Pokémon Go game) was a failure?
Is it because the whole Pokémon series feels melancholy? Or is it because we can finaly go outside to play?
I really don't get why I'm so excited about it? Why do I meet up with my friends just to catch some Pokémon?!
What are your thoughts? Are some people also playing the game? Or do you think it's boring? Please tell me!
I don't think Ingress is a failure! It's played all over the world and its quite cool in my opinion! And it was the pioneer in these type of games, Pokemon Go is a result of it, a successor and profits from its tech and the developing company.
