The real face of Facebook
If you do not like Facebook, it's not a good time to smile broadly on the events of the last few weeks.
I like Facebook, but I do not have a profile there.
Most people I know have profiles there, but they do not like Facebook.
It does not matter whether you like it or not, because Facebook itself does not care for you. For him, you are data, units and zeros, part of the database and nothing more.
But because it is a global social media and a platform without absolutely no competition, let's sum up what Facebook actually means. And what is not?
At the congressional hearing, his creator, Mark Zuckerberg, was asked if Facebook kept track of us. He said it was not. But it is. Which means that Mark either does not know what his company's capabilities are, or he just did not tell the truth.
Facebook tracks you because it's designed to keep you online for as long as possible.
In order for this to be possible, you must create a continuous interest, and in order for it to be possible, you must know your interests very well.
Without going into the technical details of the program code, Facebook knows you very well.
Better than your friends, your relatives, your boyfriend. Better than you.
The other way Facebook keeps you busy is by sending you "shocking" news and any information you can hang on. Do not make it out of bad luck. It simply benefits from your presence. But you have to know it.
And to accept that if Facebook knows everything about you, then potentially someone else can know it. By hacking Face, buying information from the face, or otherwise. This may (and probably will never) have direct danger to you, but it makes you vulnerable. And addicted.
There are things that are reprehensible, but there is nothing reprehensible in thinking of reprehensible things.
Facebook knows your thoughts. So these thoughts may know others - colleague, boss, family. And then we remain to interpret our thoughts to someone else. It's not goth.
There is a myth and it is that Facebook collects people. Not only is this not true, it is also dangerous.
You can see that you have 800 or 8000 friends, but there is nobody there after all. There are only units and zeros.
Furthermore, facebook friendship begins to influence and change the definition and expectations of true friendship. And true friendship means more than an approved friend request.
Facebook makes people sad. Fact. The speed at which you receive photos, news, news and any comments make you unconscious because you can not manage it and live forever with the idea that you have missed something.
You try to make up for this with uninterrupted connectivity, which is even more disturbing because of the constant sounds and signals your tablet, computer or smartphone delivers.
And if we abstain from all this, because of your titanic Zen peace, it comes to what you really see. Very smiling and prosperous people, some of whom you know and know are actually full holes, but they do not look that way to Face.
And subconsciously you try to show the world that you also have some important, essential things to show, a life to boast of.
And you're going to take pictures and poems - man, woman, places, car, children, you take out whatever artillery you have to show the world (and/or yourself) that you exist.
These are very great efforts, dear. And because you do not accept them as an effort, but as a "fun", you do not feel yourself becoming more sad, tenser and more dependent.
If you know all of this and if you agree with all this, then everything is ok. Now you have to answer for yourself, okay if this OK is OK for you. Is OK OK? And if you're OK again, then it's OK.
that's why @peekbit is not on fb 😊
good decision
