Festive season is here again!

Lights and Décor all around have illuminated our surroundings and our lives as well. Like every year, we celebrated Christmas with a lot of craze. This time, we had Noori too. It was Noori’s first Christmas and that added to our excitement. Everything we did was done keeping Noori in mind, how she would react and what she would like.

Like every year, we had Christmas celebrations in my Office. We have Secret Santa. Secret Santa has to bring gift for the person he is chosen for. This happens via a slip system. I was secret Santa for a lady in my office. We also planned secret Santa within my business process team.

There, I was secret Santa to one of my good friends. So one day before, on 24th, we went to buy Santa gifts from the mall. I got a desktop phone stand for the office secret Santa and for my friend, I got a smart pair of sliders (Fact Check: I am a slider lover and I have at least 7 of them. What I bought for her, I got the same for myself too. So now I have 8 of them).

It was Noori’s first Christmas and she is our baby so how could have I forgotten her gift. I got her a Pink colored dress and a Santa cap.

We had our dinner in the mall itself. The mall is decorated beautifully with Christmas lights, Santa's, Christmas tree. It was lit. When we came back, @hungrypb helped me pack all the gifts (Fact Check: I am very poor at packing gifts and this is one task I never take up).

After we came back, we decorated our Christmas tree with Santa, Balls, Gifts, Toffees and Lights. Noori was mesmerized to see what Mumma and Papa were doing. She was jumping here and there and trying to catch different decorative items. It was so new for her. The moment we finisher the décor, we sat for 5 minutes to rest and came a loud noise. When we turned around, Noori had pushed the Christmas tree and all the decorative items were lying on the floor. I was obviously pissed but then I thought kids are like that only. So we did the decorations again and went to sleep.

Next day, I was dressed in green for office celebrations. The office was also decorated very beautifully. We had a party in office, played games, clicked pictures and had snacks. We exchanged our gifts. I got a photo frame and a jewelry box from my Santa. It was all very good.

In the evening when I came back home, we went out to buy a plum cake. @hungrypb loves plum cake. We cut the cake with Noori, the cake was super yumm. Noori didn’t get cake to eat but she was very happy with her Chimken (Chicken). We ordered food from outside and had a party of our own. It was a great Christmas. Noori looked beautiful in her Pink dress and Red Cap.
