THE NIGERIAN SCAMMER - FRAUDSTER

On a question asked on quora.com about the "Causes of The Nigerian Scam Culture, one mr weli orlu who lives in Nigeria gave the following answer and I would like to share my opinion on his comment.

He said that "There is no scamming culture in Nigeria and that we Nigerians are hard working individuals and are really determined people.

We have a culture of always questioning the intentions of people but this culture is only found in the big cities.

In rural Nigeria people live communal life. The community trains a child. If the child leaves the community and goes to a city, he is advised by his community to be careful of city life. He should beware of all the evil acts done in the city.

In cities parents train their children to be highly self aware, and to question the intentions of strangers.

With the background knowledge above he analyzed the Nigerian scam issues.

Nigerians are hard working and determined people. Most Nigerians are honest people but when a few persons out of the whole now decides to become Con Artists, what you get is a HARDWORKING AND DETERMINED con artist.(😂)

The work of these con artist is not easy. They send a lot of emails, waiting for someone to fall, only a determined person does that.

He mentioned that Many of there email scams are arranged by unemployed graduates who graduated from higher institutions without jobs, some even travel to a foreign country, which some time fails to get employment in that country because the institutions in that country does not value his #Nigerian certificate, the person may become frustrated and start living a life of crime 😥. source.

Well, I Don't Agree !!!

When I saw this question on quora, I felt should share it with you to know what you think about THE NIGERIAN SCAMMER.

This is because I personally don't think I agree with what he is saying, well at least not completely.

I know that we as Nigerians are strong and determined people. Yes we sure are🏋

I also think that this general upbringing of the #Nigerian Child he mentioned is a leading factor why this Nigerian child could end up as an internet fraudster. To keep things simple, I will make a full post about this later.

The problem is never as a result of unemployment, I think it is as a result of the options we where given from our so called elderly who trained us subconsciously to be determined people.

In Nigeria, the destiny of every child revolves around the "Going to school, graduating and getting a good job" nothing more nothing less and when this fails you are seen as a failure by every other person.

A child that does not want to be seen as a failure by his family then searches to see a second option and there it is
SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM.

What other options do we really have?

I can boldly say that about 70% of the youths in my country do not even know what #Steemit is and it's earning potential.

For research reasons, I formed a habit of asking young people who fall within the age bracket of 14 to 17years a particular set of questions as part of my proactive mission to remove the stigma of internet fraud from the face of my country.

Question 1.
Do you know how to use the internet?

Most common answer = Yes

Question 2
Do you think or know that money could be made from the internet ?

Most common answer = A big YES!

Question 3
How is this money made?

Most common answer = SCAM

😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
Although they all confirmed that Scam is bad and they will not get involved with it.#morals

Sincerely ....I cry for my country, I do believe there is a trending Scam culture going on in Nigeria and it is a problem that will be solved with or without your help. But with your help if will be solved faster and more effectively.

A problem that I @sugah will be a part of the SOLUTION.

School is not where we should go with MONEY as the only driving force, same as the UNIVERSITY is just where you should go to learn how to be a BETTER person in life and the society and not where you go so you become a RICH man overnight. This also means that it gave no 100% assurance of employment.

I talk from experience,

while I was a #gamble addict, I had to resign from my current job then @shoprite against the will of everybody including my mom and dad.
They where all shocked why I wanted to leave a job that was paying me about $100 every month a job that millions of Nigerians where even praying for.

This was because they where all money driven like the Nigerian Scammer but I had to leave the job totally to be able to work on my #addiction problems because I was value driven and Now I am in total control of my addiction habits.

Plus I also have been able to learn and now mastering how I can still use the #INTERNET which is one thing my government has little to no control over to solve the problems of #unemployment legitimately.

I am now working online from the comfort of my home which happens to have the same job description with that of the Nigerian Scammer but with a different mindset and drive.😁😝

I know that the secret of earning, is learning and if all my Nigerian brothers and sisters could forget crime and learn some other useful things that are still profitable mixed with DETERMINATION he/she already possesses, a lot of money can still be made.

What do you really think about THE NIGERIAN SCAMMER?

In a future post, I will out line how we all can join hands together and make the internet a safe place to be in by reducing or totally eradicating the activities of the NIGERIAN SCAMMER online.

I post such #inspirational and motivating posts about #Life #love #money and #photography.

I am your friend @sugah and I am here to add value.
