Single-payer health care is gaining ground

In a sign of a move to the left on single payer healthcare, the Center for American Progress (CAP), a bastion of the Democratic establishment, this week released a plan that comes very close to a single-payer system.

The CAP plan, called "Medicare Extra for All," would provide government-run health insurance for everyone, though people would still have the option of obtaining coverage from an employer.

This is a good start, but people need to keep pushing. Healthcare for all is a no brainer. We live in a country that spends $600+ billion per year on the military, if you cut that spending, that money would cover healthcare for every American easily...
