Scars (Illustrated Song)

Each week, Spotify recommends me a list of songs I might like. Each week, I only find 1-3 out of 30 that end up in my playlist. But those 1-3 songs usually speak to me on some level.

The song that spoke most to me this week was "Scars", by Fashion (obligatory youtube link). At first, I just enjoyed the intro musically, but after a while, I noticed that there are some other levels on which it resonated with me.

I've been quite busy the past few weeks, you might have noticed next to no activity on my @suesa account and I've even been completely gone from steem.chat the past week. One more month (+ a few days) until I've turned in my bachelor thesis, and then ... we will see. I hope to be able to post more regularly again, as I really miss writing posts. Fiction, science, or shitposts, it doesn't really matter, as long as I don't have to cite every second sentence (curse you, introduction of my thesis!).

Anyway. This morning, I wrote the last sentence for the draft of my introduction, so I gave myself some time to reflect what I want to do. It ended up to be another song illustration, as you can see in the title. In the end, it became surprisingly personal, so I'm not actually sure if I want to post it. Then again, I like sharing things, and posts that contain nothing personal tend to be a bit dull.
