Drag Queen For a Day

A few years back I developed a storyline about two down and out latino fat guys who take on odd jobs to make ends meet. In this short film our two fat guys go undercover as drag Queens. I am a big guy and I don't think people would have expected this from me, and that is where the comedy comes from for the film project. I never done drag before and I can't say I was looking forward to it. We hired a drag Queen consultant Ms. Appolonia cruz, she was fabulous, yes there was stuff about doing drag I hated, but if you're going to do it right then you have stuck it up and go for it. As Ms Cruz would say, "pain is beauty"

My day as a drag Queens started with getting dressed. The first thing I noticed that I said to myself. "self I am not going to like this." was a bra with a wire in it to hold up my fake foam boobs. The wire was digging in to my chest. Then there was the nails, once the fake nails where put on I realized that I wanted to walk with my fingers spread out and elongated. Something about the glue and how it dries. Then there was the dress, I was supposed to just wear this micro dress but it kept ridding up. I film was still PG so I added bike shorts to Ms. Cruz disappointment.

With the dress debacle behind me. I put on the 6 inch striper boots. The stripper boots where pain. Just pain all I can say. My feet still hurt just thinking about it. I had to dance, act and do a big fight scene in this outfit. I was not happy at the end of the day let me tell you.
