making old charging port usd-pd
I have been using Samsung Series 9 models released in 2013 for about 6 years.
There are no complaints about appearance or performance.
It is still active, but there is only one thing.
Batteries can not be covered. Without outlet, low power mode is also three hours long.

So I searched for batteries for notebooks. There is no mercy on the price for the DC output battery.

When I thought about it, I expected that there would be a trigger pulling the PD output at a fixed 20V.

PD cable is required separately and converted to DC terminal of 5.5mm outer diameter and 2.5mm inner diameter.

So far, I have been using the UM2 charger below for scalability.
I do not like the port.
If you do not have an outlet in the cafe, you will have to find another cafe or give up your laptop.
So, I would like to utilize Xiao Mi PD auxiliary battery which is released cheaply these days.
I first checked the UM2 (LVSUN) charger output.
40W output is good. It outputs the same voltage and current value as the genuine adapter.
PD Trigger 1 PD cable + PD trigger + DC Gender
PD trigger 2 is a little cleaner because it is integrated with PD cable.
I checked the UM2 charger with PD trigger # 1.
The voltage is about 21V, but the amount of power is 40W and is output properly.
I also passed on to the Xiao Mi secondary battery.

There is no big difference.
Although the voltage value is slightly higher than the rated output of the notebook adapter from 20V to 21V

It is a little heavy, but if you bring Xiaoi auxiliary battery and PD trigger cable, you can finally get out of the outlet.
