I really love morning glories. Their ethereal beauty shines gloriously even when photographed by me with my old cell phone (galaxy S3). I must have been on The Naughty List because Santa did not bring me a new camera for Christmas.
None the less, I was captivated by the morning glories that grew in my garden this year. So I just had to take their picture!
They grow on a vine that meanders where ever it wants to grow. I had a metal arch that I tried to train them to....
I thought it was working quite well, but then they decided to grow on a different structure...
They grew to the tip top of my dogwood tree!

Very pretty color of blue. Some Morning glories produce seeds that produce a weak LSD effect if eaten. I'm not recommending it but it is weird to think about how close plants are related to humans and the effects they can have on us.

Some ambitious kids have died by trying too many of them. It was on the news 4 or 5 years ago.
That is very sad. I work in healthcare and see the negative effects poor drug education and misuse of poorly chosen drugs way too often. While a few people may be drug free most have a drug of choice it may only be coffee or cigarettes, but my point is people will try to change their mind, it is in our genes. While the drug war may fun for bullies and profitable for Prison corp it hurts people. IMO a much saner approach would be education and availability of drug that have a wide therapeutic dose. Meaning you can vary the dose a lot up or down without ill effects. Thanks for your comment I hope it help people avoid the same mistake.
