Sasi's Steakhouse

When you live in a town for long enough, you tend to just stick to a half a dozen go-to places for meals out. But when you have visitors from out of town, it's always nice to explore some place new. Our search unearthed a little gem tucked away in a back alleyway..

The first thing I noticed about Sasi's was how quaint and quiet it was. Tucked just off of a main road, nestled naturally among trees and surrounding scenery, Sasi is a haven of peacefulness.

The second thing that caught my attention was how vast it seemed inside.. we were led through a maze of outdoor paths and private dining areas towards the back. Scattered amongst the chairs and cobblestone paths were little knick-knacks and retro vehicles, an Old Volkswagen van, and classic BMW motorcycles..

The back of the restaurant had a homely indoor section which was decorated and painted in artsy manner, and it made for a nice ambiance.. I was thankful for the air-conditioning as well.

We were given a large table in a snug corner of the room and the menus were brought over. It seems like the majority of restaurant you go to in Thailand will always offer the same standard fare.. Don't get me wrong, I love Thai food, but it's nice to have some variety once in awhile..

I'm happy to say that in this aspect Sasi Steak House didn't disappoint.. in fact, if I could offer one complaint about the menu, it would be that it was too long! There was so much to choose from.. I mean, we were trying to order lunch, not read War & Peace..

But I was pleased to see a lot of Thai/farang fusion food.. like green curry spaghetti, or orange curry fried rice. This being a steakhouse, there were steak combos to choose from as well.. I went with the fried pork steak w/cheese!

The food was delicious and filling. I didn't have any room for dessert, but there didn't seem to be an exquisite selection. Dessert came anyway in the form of a mandatory birthday sundae.. 😁

All in all, Sasi Steak House was a delightful find, and kid-friendly to boot. With so much more of the menu to go through, I will definitely be making a return appearance. If you are ever passing through Krabi Town in Thailand, you should check it out.

The restaurant looks beautiful! Very rustic and striking, and cozy. The food looks delicious and plentiful. I guess it must have been hard to choose from so many succulent dishes. There's nothing better than eating delicious food in a charming place and accompanied by loved ones. Thank you for sharing those images!

It was hard to choose! I will be going back to try out some more dishes for sure. Thanks for reading and commenting! :)

certainly didn't skimp on the dessert!
