Some extreme macro shots

Today i went out in to the garden with the reversed rokkor 28mm 3.5 + 16mm extension tube.

before i did that i wanted to know what my magnification would be in this setup on the full frame camera so i used a ruler to see how much magnification we would get .

#1 i know i have a 35mm sensor so if i make a picture of the ruler and divide the 35 mm by the amount of mm in the i see in the picture i will know my magnification. it shows +/- 20mm so the magnification would be 1:1.75
A normal macro lens can maximum reach 1:1 magnification, there are exceptions on the market

and sometimes we get lucky to spots insects for portrait shoot ;) in this case a nymph of a Leptophyes punctatissima , Speckled bush-cricket
