Google's new project Android Go

Google is the giant tech in the field of mobile operating system. Currently more than 2 billion android users are in the market and the number is increasing day by day. Comparing to other techs, there are around 1 billion iOS users which is about half of that of android. However google is now aiming at the low budget devices with the release of new project Android Go. Here are the features that this operating system will be having:

Lightweight

Android Go is designed to make android run smoothly on basic smartphones having low storage ,processing power and limited connectivity. This os will be functional on devices with less than 1 GB of RAM.

Special Play Store

A special play store will be designed for this operating system which will contain apps specially designed for this system. The apps are expected to take less than 10 MB of storage and will be fully functional with limited internet connection.

Android O

The Android Go project is expected to be lighter version of Google's upcoming new operating system Android O.

Specially Designed third party Apps

Google is going to specially design the lighter version of third party apps along with the lighter version of its own apps like YouTube Go. For more chrome will be running with default data saver mode on for these devices.
