Review! Wise Man Fear - Patrick Rothfuss

Hi guys, so a left you some time to read book from my previous review called Name of the Wind. Now, I will tell you something about second book from the series. That book is Wise Man Fear.

Where Rotfuss stopped with last word of his book, he continued with the second. Story here starts with a second day of narration from the Quothe, and Chronicler was there to record everything. One amazing legend, or a myth or it was a truth?

Quothe was on the University a little time, but fame already was his. Circumstances in his life led him to dangerous situations, and was forced to leave his beloved place, a place where he truly belonged. He needed to go to the city, to deal with the the nobility and find more enemies. Soon he finds out that role of a legend is not so easy.

In this part of the story, he keep discovering long forgotten stories, something that was thought to exist only in the mind of people. But, for Quothe and his story all that was so true, maybe more than he wanted. Every adventure, every step he makes tells another story.

The bigger story rises around Quothe, the bigger writers skill is. I don't know is that my impression or I'm too subjective? Why is that important? Well, when there is such a great story you want a writer who is capable of telling it. It's not only that he knows how to do that, but he makes it even greater beyond the boundaries of the possible.

We are used to reading a story, a book, and to close it and put it on the shelf. Be sure that this is not the case here. This book and its protagonist, I download the novel's authors, will make you his companion. You will be Quothe. You will experience the whole spectrum of human emotions, and this is the strength and great advantage of this novel and, consequently, of the writer. So you will not put this book on the shelf, you would want it close to you soon. :)

You will have the impression that there is not one more word to tell, everything is so simple but at the same time so complex. The writer grows up with his book, and if he can get better anyway. Phrases, dialogues, everything is so great that you will be stunned.

So, I read it years ago first time and it was a beautiful experience for me. I read it again a year after, a and again. So, I hope that he ( Patrick Rothfuss ) will soon publish third book of this epic, epic adventure.
