NHRA is all About Drag Racing and This is a Little Piece of Silver I Picked Up Today that Celebrates the 50th Anniversary in 2006 of The US Nationals which is an Annual Drag Racing Event in Indianapolis, Indiana...........
As a Kid Growing Up I Used to Go To Drag Races Often Since there were 4 Major Drag Strips in the Southern California Area that I lived in.........
Those Drag Strips were Irwindale, Pomona Fair Grounds (Winter Nationals), Lions Drag Strip (Long Beach) and OCIR, Orange County International Raceway in Irvine, California..........
Through the 1970's This was Heaven For Drag Racing Fans..........
Before We Take a Look at the Silver One Ounce Round Lets get a Little Taste of the Fun and DANGER of Drag Racing.......
Now That is The Kind of Stuff That Adrenaline Junkies Live For..........
Here is The Silver NHRA Medallion I picked Up, I Love Unusual Silver and My Community Knows that About Me.......
It's a Good Thing This Came in its Own Box With COA since the Medallion itself is not Marked .999 Fine
Then we have The Reverse with That Great NHRA Logo.............
One More Thing I Want To Share with You Talking About Nostalgia and One of the Wildest Rides in all of Drag Racing........

I too am a NHRA Fan, my uncle would take we to Martin Dragway in Michigan on Highway 131 when I was young. It used to hold the Funny Car Nationals in the 80's.
I was a big fan of Don “The Snake”Prudhomme
I also witnessed the first 300MPH pass of a top fuel dragster at the Gator Nationals March 20, 1992 in Gainsville, FL.

I know all about it, my wife’s uncle race in IHRA which is like a step under NHRA, he used to take us to all the races! It is awesome to go to them! Here’s a pic of his car..
