The Bears tried to make their presence known last week but the Bulls came to the rescue and pushed Bitcoin above the $8000 mark.

Either one of two things is happening. Either a double top is forming or an ascending triangle is forming. If the double top is forming then Bitcoin may retrace back to $7000. If the ascending triangle is forming Bitcoin will break past $8200.

STEEM has pushed up to the $0.40 level and is stuck at $0.39.
