This shot catches me balancing on my partner's feet mid acrobatics act, as we perform for the local school children of Ubud, on the island of Bali, in Indonesia. That's fucking teamwork.

20 something other 20 something year old self-proclaimed Circus Freaks were part of the show, as we all lived together in an unfinished Ashram 10 minutes by moped up the hill into the rice paddie land outside the city clatter, making grown-up sounding excuses to play all day, everyday....

The sheer amount of relevant adjective filled hashtags could crash the internet. Call them #Crashtags.

In the circus I found solace.

I found other folk happily self identifying as Freaks.

I found the ultimate umbrella under which to reconcile my multipassionate nature.

Everyday the circus asked me:

Would i like to design and wear wacky costumes everyday? Yes, very much so.

How about world travel? Why, certainly!

And how about another dose of that particular performance high, shot up in front of every size crowd, willing or otherwise? Indubitably.

How about hours intense athletic training that requires all in single point focus on the present moment? I'll take a daily dose of that as well, please.

And a built in excuse to climb on all objects, inanimate and otherwise? Count me in.

This, my cyber friends, is the obsession factor.
