  • Leg Press Sled

    First run on the OHP, embarrassing to be lifting the bar only (notice how I threw on the baby plate ASAP LOL). I need to remember to tighten up my glutes for stabilization next time

  • Dumbbell Hammer Inclined Curl

    I had intended to do this at 12.5, but those weights were gone on my side of the dumbell rack, and I didn't have the oomph to walk over and get them LOL. Which turned out OK due to the fact that I was so gassed I had to stop after 4 on the first set. Once I sucked in some wind, and remembered the right form, I could move forward on these.

  • Calisthenic Back Extension

    I think I will be doing these instead of the back extension machine from here on out; they just feel like they do more good. Once I get to 20, I'll start upping the weight on them to more than zero ;>

  • Post-Workout Cooldown
    Bike 5 min
    Start/End Heart Rate 142/131
    I had walked in planning to do some HIT (either kettlebell swing or ropes, depending on availability) at the end of this session...after the back extensions, I was a little dizzy, so I said naaaah, and finished on the bike. As long as I'm over my max suggested heart rate, I'm not going to push too hard in the short run.

if you're in bad shape that you cant enjoy a beer or 6, then priority is gym, but if you can slam beers first and THEN go to gym, you're living the life of Riley ;>
