Lucky Cuisine Restaurant 吉祥川味馆

After a hectic day atwork, it is time to treat ourselves with good food. Me and my 2 fellow colleagues went to Kota Damansara's Lucky Cuisine Restaurant, around the area of Sunway Giza but it is not inside the mall. You may want to use Google Map so you can understand better where it is. We didn't book a table because we figure that it wont be crowded well, weekdays ...

We got ourselves the pre-requisite which are the chili sauce, some sweet sauce like those from Chee Cheong Fun, and some veges. Veges are important to make the soup taste better.

Yee Mee is always present in steamboats, even though it is the cheapest but it is always eaten at the last part. Pork slice seems to look fresh that day. Until we tasted it after cooking it for less than 5 minutes, it is really nice!

Nowadays it is a trend or it is usual to have a pot with a divider at the center, so you can pick two types of soup. I prefer spicy, but not too much so I chose half spicy, while my colleague chose the non spicy which is the right side. Best of both worlds am I right?

The half spicy is really enough spicy for me, I even dipped a little soup from the right to the left to make it less spicy, hahaha.

I am still abit confused on how they calculate the tax. Sometimes we need to pay for 10% service tax and 6% SST, sometimes it's just service tax. I think they already calculated the cost into their food. For RM84.70 as a total for 2 person, it is quite worth it I guess, that is also because we did not take any expensive seafoods like prawns or crabs. Those are really a killer in destroying wallets.
