Here it is - the city of Burgas under the wing of the plane.
Finally leave and caught up with me. And here I am flying to Bulgaria. True, the ticket again had to be taken with a transfer in Moscow, the charter was covered because of the “good” work of the Turovo company. Do not buy tickets from them, they are already bankrupt. Well at least they reported two weeks before departure and I managed to get tickets for another flight, but without any discounts and with a jump in currency. So cheap charter tickets purchased for three months, do not give any guarantee, no need to rejoice in advance.
Burgas is a city on the Black Sea, more precisely, the Bourgas Bay. By our standards, the city is small, but in Bulgaria it is considered the fourth largest.
The city of Burgas was founded in the XVII century on the site of a fishing village, located on the site of the Greek colony Pyrgos. I will not tell the story of the emergence and development of the city.

I'm just like a tourist or vacationer, I will walk around the city and take pictures of everything. So, in my opinion it is best to imagine the city.
I was here in May and can already see the changes in the city. No wonder the local so praise their mayor, he really is engaged in the improvement of the city.

Today I am walking along Bogoridi Street, which is one of the two central streets of Burgas. For four months everything has changed here except for houses. The street starts at the Primorsky Park. And right away, at the beginning of the street, a map of the city was laid out from the mosaic with an index of historical memorials.

Repair monument Gramophone. He now plays the melody, although I did not understand which one. Cozy benches and a water maze were made around.
The track laid out new paving stones. Moreover, along the roadway laid out the names of the streets that cross the street Bogoridi.

Street Bogoridi pedestrian. There are many small cafes and restaurants that go from one to another without any restrictions. I watch with interest how people can sit for hours and drink one glass of beer, a cup of coffee or water. They are not in a hurry. Maybe it's all vacationers, and the season is almost over. Today, September 24, on the street, by the way, is 30 degrees of heat, and water is 22 degrees of heat. So I'm still swimming.
Here is the fountain “Boy with a Pelican”, I came up with the name - I did not find it anywhere, it is already working. By the way, after the end of the summer season, all the fountains in the city are turned off and covered with a protective film.

Along the street there is a solid chain of shops for all tastes and wishes, but most of them are souvenir. Here the Bulgarians are not far behind - a sea of magnets, postcards, plates, pottery, and various containers with shells.

But how would an art school. Sometimes students sit right at the entrance and paint portraits.

There are also archaeological objects on Aleko Bogordi. Here, for example, the Thracian tomb.
There is an Archaeological Museum on Bogoridi Street, I have not been there yet. The sea is calling, while this weather can not tear myself away from the sea.

Here is a commemorative plaque-portrait of Bogoridi, after which the street is named. Aleko Bogoridi was a Bulgarian diplomat, a descendant of the famous leader of the Bulgarian national movement Sofroniy Vrachansky, who put forward his candidacy for the Bulgarian throne, after Prince A. Battenberg renounced it. Bogoridi died in Paris in 1910.

Here is an interesting house with a deer head and a huge fish. This shop equipment for hunters and anglers.

This square is located on the corner of Aleksandrovsk, it is the second pedestrian, central street of Burgas, and Aleko Bogoridi. Here is a church and a huge central hotel "Bulgaria". Behind the square - City Hall and the central square. Here all processions and holidays usually begin, and then move towards the Troikat Square, which is located on Aleksandrovka Street, about it next time.

Well, this street started from the Sea Garden Gradina park itself, with its magnificent panoramas of the Gulf of Burgas and the Bourgas beach.
Thanks to everyone who walked with me along this sunny Bulgarian street.
And I'm on the beach ....
