The Sanctuary of the #Steem #Blockchain will always have my back

First of all, I would like to once again say a Massive Thank You to everyone that has supported my Blog as I approach my 4th Anniversary on #Steem.

I joined #Steem back in August 2016 and these last +3 years have been without any shadow of doubt the best +3 years I have had on Social Media.

During my time here, I have repeatedly been banging the drums about the lack of Contractual and Commercial Awareness in the #Steem Community and every time I did, I was either ignored or told to **** off.!!

I just wanted to share with you again my thoughts about #Steem.

#Steem is not some kind of joke, it's an Investment Protocol and as such should be treated with the utmost respect.

Sure, we are all here to have fun and it's great to see so many people supporting each other with some amazing Projects and Initiatives, but at the same time, we should realise that what is published on the #Blockchain stays on the #Blockchain.

Contrary to what a few people may think, we are essentially creating Smart Contracts every time we hit that "Post" button, whether it's a Blog or a Comment.

The moment something is said, it is said forever, which takes me on to a point that I am often asked.

Why I am here?

I think the above comment should hopefully answer this.

For the past +3 years, I have often been stunned to read what some people have published on #Steem and have been left wondering whether they realise that the consequences of their actions could haunt them down the line.

May be they do, may be they don't, I am not entirely sure.

In the meantime however, I will continue to do what I have been doing on #Steem in the knowledge that the Sanctuary of the #Steem #Blockchain will always have my back.
