Stephen, in this short video you have managed to share more than any main stream economist thinks they know about the real fundamentals of money. This is an exceptional video! With your background in derivatives and sound money economics you know just how dangerous the world's financial situation really is. The root of the problem is the unlimited amounts of money printing and increasing amounts of global debt rising to beyond sustainable levels. Looking at the over priced stock markets pumped by years of near 0% rates, its going to be a bloodbath for those who have not hedged into gold, silver and crypto currencies. Usually I would say hold a low cost index fund as it will outperform other assets over time but with the situation today I hold 0 stocks. The market is ready for a major correction. The SNAP bubble has burst already just like we had called it. Overrated and overpriced headed to $12! In the video you made a key point about investing into something others "hate". Cryptocurrencies are that perfect play in the years to come since your average investor has yet to even think about buying crypto. What this means is their is nearly unlimited buying potential into crypto at the moment since only a tiny fraction of the world holds any crypto. Crypto could be such a huge asset class that some of the gold bugs money flows into crypto over time. Gold is a 8 trillion market and crypto 50 billion. Crypto is just a speck compared to the other financial asset classes. What this means is an investment opportunity of lifetime as fund managers start adding in just 1%, 2% - 5% into the crypto hedge. Fund managers buying in crypto are the first movers sign that crypto is indeed crossing into early mainstream as a new asset class. Only in time will tell but every indicator now points to massive move of early mainstream adoption for crypto currencies. Next year we could see the start of the crypto consumer adoption stage where average person starts to use crypto currencies in one way or another!
