Sorry I missed it. I travelled to Brisbane for this event, but got my dates mixed up. I thought it was on Sunday. Hope you had fun, maybe next time. On another note, I booked into a horrible airbnb in New Farm that had no airconditioning. It was significantly cooler outside the unit - where it was 32 degrees C. After an hour and a half, I couldn't take it any more. I checked out and booked into the Park Regis. I'm sorry I missed the event. I was looking forward to it. I was just busy in the days leading up and left home early on the Saturday, without double-checking the date. My bad....
Oh that’s a shame. Especially since you travelled up and stayed. I hope you enjoyed your night in the hotel. Air BnB can be a bit hot and miss. Lol I’m going to leave that typeO seems appropriate.

Hi Stephen, Yes, it was a shame. Sorry for the delay in responding. I haven't been on Steemit. I will definitely attend the December one. I attended two Blockchain Meetups in the weeks preceding, and they had both been on a Sunday. I got mixed up :) Sorry I missed it. I hope it was fun. Brisbane is a very under-rated city. I was first there in 1987, just before the World Fair. It was like a large country town. It's as if the people haven't changed, only the setting :)

Mate, I'm sorry that you drove all the way to Brisbane for no one to show up. I totally forgot about this, sorry. My mind is on end of year uni exams at the moment, so this slipped off my radar completely. It would have been good to meet you.
