Genius is not born, it becomes ...

When I say "genius," what are the first people who come to your head?

Einstein? Darwin? Newton? Descartes? Seth Godin?

In 1904 was made a study about geniuses. It was wanted to learn the secret of the geniuses: what do they have in particular?

The conclusions were simple coincidences: the vast majority of people considered very clever were born from "elderly fathers" and "young mothers". I put it between quotation marks because we are talking about a study that has been going on for more than 100 years ago. Older fathers were supposed to be over 35 and young mothers under 25 at the time of genius conception. At the same time, for the most part, these very clever people were sick in childhood or lived in a drama - often they were left without one of the parents.

For example: Dickens was fatherless, Darwin was motherless.

Another study has concluded that geniuses are usually celibate: Descartes, Galileo, Newton ...

But, be it between us, these studies do not go anywhere. Maybe, let's just explain, that these people were very creative and attentive to their passions because of loneliness or annoyance in their lives. Otherwise, nothing makes them too special.

One theory says that a man is creative when tortured ...

And these geniuses are not just creative. They are VERY creative:

Darwin - 119 works

Einstein - 248 works

Freud - 300 treaties

Mozart - 600 works

Edison - 1,093 patented inventions

Picasso - 20,000 works

But the question is, how many of these geniuses are really "brilliant" and known?

The answer is: a small percentage of their works are truly brilliant and known!

Darwin - what do you know about him? The evolutionary theory?

Edison - the light? phone? and other 1000 you do not know ...

Einstein - E = mc2?

Genius is Exercise ...

Edison has 1,093 patented inventions - but how did he get to have so many?

Well, he says he's been trying to invent something great every six months and "something minor" every 10 days. Somehow he's committed to constantly inventing something.

Bach wrote daily, even when he was sick or tired, a singing ...

Dean Simonton studied 2038 scientists from different domains and epochs.

The conclusion: "The most brilliant" people produced not only the most numerous creations or discoveries, but also the most irrelevant discoveries. Quality comes from quantity and exercise.

That is so true genius are made and not born. It is better you try and fail than you fail to try. If you fail try, and try and try until you get it right. When a baby learns how to walk, he tries and falls but he doesn't stop there he keeps trying until he perfects it. So never give up keep trying and trying till the genius in you comes out

All the great minds we know, at the beginning of there lives they were failures but they didn't believe they were. People called them failures but they saw themselves as geniuses. Failure is only when you give up, so if you don't want to be a failure but a genus don't give up
