How To: Buy Steem Power with BlockTrades

Compared to the traditional financial systems, buying, transferring, and withdrawing cryptocurrency is pretty damn easy. Buying Steem and Steem Power via BlockTrades is no different. Follow the few easy steps below to have Steem and Steem Power sent directly to your wallet.

1. Select Payment Option - what coin you will pay with

You're currently able to select the following payment methods: Bitcoin, Bitshares, Dash, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Tether, Steem, among a few others.

2. Select Desired Coin - what coin you will receive

3. Input Amount - how much you want to pay and what you'll receive

By inputting how much you want to pay, it will then convert how much Steem / Steem Power (or whatever coin you selected) you will receive.

4. Input Account Name & Get Deposit Address

Your account name is your Steem username. In my case, stenonotes is my account name. Make certain it says "Address is valid" and do NOT include the @ symbol in this input field. Next, click the 'Get Deposit Address' button.

5. Send Payment to Deposit Address

Your deposit address will then appear. Send your payment to this address. Before sending, make certain to send the correct coin!

6. Wait Patiently (especially if you picked Bitcoin)

Once you initiate the transaction, you will then see your pending transaction, shown below.

After a few block confirmations, your transaction will then be complete, seen below.

And viola! Check your Steem Wallet for your newly purchased funds!
