Leonardo da Vinci was born in Vinci, Italy and lived in the time of the Renaissance and was a multi-talented man who worked with several sciences during his life.During his life he lived in Florence, Milan and France.Leonardo da Vinci was painter,engineer,astronomer,philosopher,anatomist,mathematical,sculptor,erudite,
architect,civil engineer,diplomat,inventor,composer,poet and musician.Μany scientists in our days consider him to be one of the best painters of all time.
In this series I will present some of his best inventions and works.

It is believed that Leonardo da Vinci had notes on inventions of more than 20000 pages but nowadays very few are preserved and have been documented in small volumes depending on their category.
He has worked extensively on various man-made flights, which are very similar to today's constructions.

These constructions relied heavily on the strength of the man's arms and legs to make the flight a fact that was extremely difficult.

The designs of these constructions were taken by the later scientists up to our days and perfected them by modern methods and technologies and created the modern flight engines.
