Is it necessary to invest on STEEM POWER to become scucesful on STEEMIT?
It's been more than 27 days since i am using this wonderful platform, When i joined for the first time people used to get lot of attention and upvotes for every posts and even newbies used to earn more than hundred steemit dollars for introducing themselves nicely. But now the crowd has been increased and upvote power got down. Steemit kinda changed in the matter of 3 weeks, couple of weeks back it is used to reward with 0.1 cent every time as soon as the new post has been posted but it's not happening now.
90% of the people are getting attracted to the posts which has greated upvote value, and they are commenting like not even reading a single lines of the posts.
I have seen many posts with the great content and with the less attention. Because of this less attention some great posts are going in vain.
For example i have seen a whale posts which has no content and he justed posted a dot and that post got lot of attention and made him around 6$ in 2 minutes, i was so shocked the post has no content and the title was so bad and there is only one dot in the inner post.
So finally it is seems to be like you should invest on your STEEM POWER to get a lot attention to your posts. And no matter how good your content is you should have a strong steem power value.
If not then it takes several months like more than a year to turn out be a whale on this platform and you need to have lot of patience and hard work must needed. Hence concluded.
I think more than Steem Power it's your reputation score than draws people in. If you have a high reputation score you normally have more followers, meaning more people see what your posting.
I do agree though that the content of those posts kind of become irrelevant for the most part, as people just add generic comments, like great post and then add an upvote hoping for curation rewards when the post does well.
I wrote a post on this, entitled "Do people even read the content of most posts" and sadly the answer seems to be no. Although I did read yours :)
