Description
I want to dedicate this set of photos to the yellow Iris. We have planted Iris pseudacorus flowers in our garden, a wild plant belonging to the Iridaceae family.
One of its characteristics are its erect leaves which can even exceed 70 cm. The inflorescence culminates with the growth of a bright yellow apical flower.
From my research I understood that it is an aquatic plant, but it can also survive in dry conditions.
A blister pack of 1 rhizome costs €5.
The yellow iris is not only beautiful to look at, but it purifies the water and acts as a natural filter. It is often planted near ponds making it ideal for that environment.

Voglio dedicare questo set di foto all’Iris giallo. Abbiamo piantato nel nostro giardino dei fiori di Iris pseudacorus, una pianta selvatica appartenente alla famiglia delle iridaceae.
Una delle sue caratteristiche sono le sue foglie erette che possono superare anche i 70 cm. L’infiorescenza culmina con la crescita di un fiore apicale di colore giallo brillante.
Dalle mie ricerche ho compreso che è una pianta acquatica, ma puó sopravvivere anche all’asciutto.
Una confezione blister da 1 rizoma costa 5€.
L’iris giallo non è solo bello da vedere, ma esso depura l'acqua e agisce come filtro naturale. Spesso viene piantato vicino agli stagni risultando ideale per quell’ambiente.
