Vitamins for the skin 🥕🍋🍓
Every woman makes a lot of efforts in order to look as good as possible. Contaminated air, poor-quality cosmetics and skin changes with age, impose their negative imprint on the skin.
To combat such negative environmental factors, our skin needs special vitamins and antioxidants. How do you know which vitamins your body needs?
There are several signs of hypovitaminosis.
1. dermatitis - lack of vitamins В3, В2, В6
2. red spots on the face, acne - result of deficiency of vitamins of group B and vitamin A
3. long non-healing wounds - the result of a lack of vitamins K, C and D
4. bruises, which are formed even with the slightest pressure on the skin - an additional intake of vitamin C and routine.
Necessary vitamins for the skin
Now let's look at each vitamin individually and analyze what benefits they bring to our skin.
Vitamin C is ascorbic acid. This vitamin is important for normal metabolism. Its deficiency leads to skin pigmentation and many other negative manifestations. Scientists say that the optimal dose of vitamin C per day is from 200 to 500 mg. This amount of this vitamin is contained in two oranges or 0.5 kilograms of apples. Vitamin C, in the greatest amounts is contained in lemons, oranges, dogrose, kiwi and apples.
Vitamin A is beta-carotene. A deficiency of this vitamin can lead to dry skin. To avoid this, doctors advise taking about two tablespoons of fish oil a day. The same amount of vitamin A is contained in 300 g of carrots, 100 g of liver and 100 g of dried apricots.
Vitamin E is tocopherol. This vitamin helps our skin look young and healthy, as it improves metabolism. Vitamin E is effective in amounts of 60 to 100 mg per day. This vitamin is found in seeds, peanuts, almonds, uncooked rice and corn oil.
Sea buckthorn and juniper oil are excellent agents that can heal the skin, and stimulate the process of its recovery. These substances have anti-inflammatory properties, antiseptic and antioxidant effect. Sea-buckthorn oil can be used to care for the skin around the eyes, as well as to soften the skin of the lips, and juniper oil can restore the skin to dullness, reducing the activity of sebaceous glands.
