Steem Crypto Challenge #2: Watercolor painting “Diving into DeFi”-exclusive on Steem
Hello my dear Steemians and Art Fans,
Finally it is weekend, you probably will wonder what does it mean we have weekend after every 5 days. It is different for me, my week could be somewhere in the middle of the week and sometimes week can have all 7 working day and 4 of them could be 12,5 hours.
Nevertheless, those days I always think that earlier or later it will be over and I can relax again.
When I was thinking about the topic I thought about my last post that was dedicated to the Challenge that is organized by @steemitblog and supported by @steemcurator01 and @steemcurator02 and this week still dedicated to Crypto Challenge “Diving into DeFi”.
You remember my previous works that I dedicated to CryptoArt and that is the time to return and create my painting EXCLUSIVELY on STEEM.
When I read about Defi in order to write my previous post I maybe like many of you thought about the wide range of benefits that we can received using Decentralized Finance.
Of course many of us already have written a lot while searching in Internet what we all could do. But today I was thinking about such situation like natural disaster: flood like in Asian, tornados in America, fire like again in California and Australia and so on…
I remember seeing many documentary when the donated money that was given by many people via charity projects in some cases have not arrived in its whole amount. Or sometimes the money was spent for something that was not covering the main needs of those people.
Having Decentralized Finance and knowing people and the local organization via social media who live in those place it is easy and fast to make transfer of the finance. The recipient will receive it immediately and without much questions.
I know from banking system here that when you do bank transfer it takes 3 working days. Also from the experience of one of family friend when he received a big money transfer the bank sent it back without notifying the account holder, as it was suspiciously too much according them.
While we think about Crypto and hope that the price of it will go up and with the help of decentralized finance we dream to be free to do what we want.
I can imagine myself to enjoy Sun, Sand and Beach, therefore as a part of the challenge I wanted to present you my painting that represent what I think about DeFi:
You have such light smooth strokes that you want to look at the picture again and again!
Probably watercolors are not given to everyone, I do not get anything at all. We still need to learn and learn... And the sky is amazing and the sea.
Probably need to wait until one layer dries up to apply another?
Hi @singa, you are right the layers must be dry first, I also sometimes have no patience to wait, on some occasion I use hair dryer to dry the painting. Especially when I do not have much time. Sky usually is the easiest part. My mistakes often that I use the layer and then do not like, wash it out and try another and that is what paper does not like. We all still learning, sometimes there are little successes :)
Soy nuevo en esto de las crypto y no se mucho (o nada) al respecto, pero lo que dices de la libertad que podemos obtener con la ayuda de las crypto y las finanzas descentralizadas definitivamente me motivan a investigar a cerca de ello y poder brindarle a mi familia la libertad de disfrutar con tranquilidad... Hi @fleur it is nice to see you back. Agree, I wish to have such moment too, actually I am missing the warm days at seaside, can't remember when it was last time. Of course we are also at seaside but this is the North sea rough and cold. Hope the next summer will be off the restriction and we can enjoy our holidays :)
